Prepay means:  You pay IT Help link before the next month of service begins.  You pay 1 month ahead of time.

Monthly pre-pay benefits:
Set scheduled calls where IT Help Link comes to your place of business every month/week and repair problems.
Sample:

  • Verify your data is being backed up properly.
  • Review event logs for possible problems, I.E. low storage space.
  • Review virus detection and logs and make sure definitions are up to date.
  • Repair any workstation, server, E-mail, firewall or printer problems that need addressing.
  • Education of employees or staff on installed products.
  • Significant reduction in the hourly rate, this rate stays valid for any calls during the month.

No trip charge for scheduled appointments.
An active network map and documentation. Any future service done on the network will be easy to relay because of excellent documentation.

Onsite service is service that requires help to be at the business location physically managing and making changes from workstations or servers.

Remote service is when help is able to manage and make changes remotely, through the internet, into your network.  There is a reduction in the hourly rate.  It actually takes more time to repair problems remotely because of internet lag and connection problems that may plague a repair session.  The time savings will be in travel, and response time to the problem.  A built-in discount rate is the benefit for this service.

Scheduled calls per month are a good way of solving problems that aren’t show stoppers, and can wait to be solved.  The other benefit to prepay will be scheduled appointments that we can decide upon together.  
Preferably the appointments will be 1, 2, 3, and 4 weeks apart, with last level requiring more time on site
during the appointments.

Trip charges are reduced from the hourly rate.

Prepaid hours are a 6 month service agreement.  Prepaid hours are computed using the discounted rate. Example: $1000.00 Prepay is 14.7 hours of service for the month. Once the hours of prepaid service are used up for the month, the discounted hourly rate continues to be applied for any future work for that month.  Hours of prepay are used for scheduled service calls in weekly, bi-weekly and monthly appointments.  No trip charges are applied for these scheduled maintenance appointments.
